GT Update #25:
Happy New Year's eve!
As most of you might know-
"Gran Torino" is premiering nationwide Jan. 9th!
With a huge open call here in MN of over 500 people and also in Fresno and Michigan- it's the first Hollywood movie of it's kind to feature Hmong actors and have a major storyline about our community.

I am looking at doing a casual get-together of a dozen of so people.
We will be watching the film Sat Jan 10th, evening 6pm roughly in St. Paul or Mpls and
then drinks or dinner at a nearby place or someone's house.
If anyone is up for hosting- that would be appreciated- I can work out the details regarding food.
We will also talk about the movie and Hmong-American filmmaking and performing arts.
If you are interested in joining- please confirm and I will email an official EVITE to you. Please pass this along as well to interested individuals. I am looking at about a dozen or people.
